Meet the Lending Team

In October 2019, Tony joined Metamo as the Head of Lending. His main responsibility was to analyse the current lending environment of Credit Unions and come up with short and long-term business proposals for delivering Metamo lending services. This would help Credit Unions design more effective and efficient credit products across various risk classes.

Tony has over 30 years of experience in senior lending and credit transformation roles, having previously worked as the Head of VW Bank – Ireland and with AIB Bank. He holds an MSc in Business Administration from Trinity College, Dublin, along with all relevant regulatory and professional qualifications necessary for handling senior Credit and Control Function roles.

Clare has over 23 years of experience in financial services, specialising in the design and delivery of automated lending solutions for Personal, Retail, and Mortgage sectors in large retail banks.

Clare is an experienced lending specialist, having worked in personal, SME, Mortgage and Commercial lending in pillar and challenger banks.

She holds a B.A. in Accounting and HRM from the National College of Ireland and a QFA from the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.

Grainne has over 35 years of Banking experience in a Pillar Bank

She is an experienced lender and underwriter with a strong track record in process management, change and credit risk analysis. Grainne is highly experienced in personal & SME lending training

Grainne holds a QFA from the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.

Andrea has more than 28 years of experience in the Credit Union sector, gaining expertise across a wide spectrum, encompassing strategic development, adept people management, underwriting acumen, and adept navigation through the financial, legal, and regulatory landscapes.

Prior to joining Metamo, Andrea was CEO of a Dublin Credit Union.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Mutual and Business Management from UCC (2002), along with several diplomas, including ACCUP Diploma from the University of Ulster (2012).  Qualified Member status with LIA, APA (Loans), CUG, and CUC. QFA Loans and QFA Regulation to date.

Lydia has over twenty years of experience as a Senior Lender in both the Retail Banking and Credit Union Sectors. She has a proven track record as a Head of Lending in a €200 Million asset size Credit Union. She has significant experience in identifying and mitigating risks associated with Mortgage and unsecured Personal Lending and is highly skilled in Credit Union policies and processes.

Lydia holds a QFA, EFA, a Higher Certificate in Business Studies, and a Certificate in Public Relations.
